20 WWE Royal Rumble Undercard Nightmares

9. The Bushwhackers Vs The Beverley Brothers (1992)

The Beverley Brothers generally proved to be quite underrated heels, playing spoilt bully boys who immediately retreated when faced with real opposition such as The Legion of Doom, The Natural Disasters and The Steiner Brothers. However, their adequate midcard act had a limit of what it could achieve, and a quality Pay-Per-View match with the useless Bushwhackers was sadly way beyond them.

Worse still, the 'Whackers were paired with WWE's sub-'Revenge of the Nerds' idiot Jameson, which forced even more of their weak stalling and comedy spots than usual for fifteen gruelling minutes. Dragging the hot-dogging into something very loosely resembling entertainment was The Genius, who was hilarious hassling the meandering Jameson on the arena floor whilst the teams did virtually nothing physical in the ring.

After a short spell of double-team dominance from the Beverleys, The Bushwhackers would see a pathetic comeback stubbed out, allowing Blake to score a pin from a Beau axehandle in a finish about as satisfying as the match itself.

At least Jameson would get his revenge on The Genius in the post-match, scoring with a kick in the shin and a boot in the a*se, and giving Lanny Poffo some understanding of how most fans had felt for the preceding twenty minutes.
