The longest-reigning NXT women's tag team champions, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter, have firmly found themselves in limbo on Monday Night Raw.

They're a solid tag team that gets sporadic pushes here and there, but can't seem to sustain their wins for more than a few weeks at a time, and lately, have been positioned as go-to filler options bordering on enhancement talent. They scored a win over Damage CTRL on the June 17th edition of Raw, but this will surely only lead to them losing a future title match against The Unholy Union. That is, if they don't just lose to Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark before that.

Their reign with the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship earlier this year was less of a run and more of a sprint, holding the titles for just over a month as transitional champions so The Kabuki Warriors could beat a heel team instead of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Since then, they've made almost no progress in reaching that top of the mountain again, even as proper contenders.

At some point, they'll find themselves back in the mix for a title shot, but fans won't believe for a moment that they'll actually capture the belts unless WWE does some serious rehab with their win-loss records.
