20 WWE Stars STRUGGLING Since WrestleMania 40

2. Baron Corbin

Had Baron Corbin not tweeted out that he's been on vacation for a few weeks, things would have seemed even more dire, as he's been on a downward spiral the past two months.

He had clearly been having fun alongside Bron Breakker and doing some of his best work ever in NXT. Together, The Wolf Dogs had great segments week in and week out and were successful tag team champions.

They lost those titles to Axiom and Nathan Frazer days after NXT Stand & Deliver. Then, Corbin lost to Lexis King at Spring Breakin' as his exit from NXT.

The Wolf Dogs were split up in the draft, wherein Breakker's been tearing up the Raw roster. In contrast, Corbin's only had one match, losing to Carmelo Hayes in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament.

He's once again falling into a rut of being one of the "jobbers to the stars" types that plagued his career for so many years until that NXT run revitalized it. All that's been thrown out the window, and he's now back to his familiar role as an overlooked supporting player with untapped potential.
