When considering the strongest men to come through the doors of professional wrestling, two of the legitimate contenders are Mark Henry and Tony Atlas.

Both huge, hulking figures, Henry and Atlas also share a background in fitness and weight training, with Atlas known as Mr. USA for his bodybuilding success and Henry known as The World’s Strongest Man for his achievements in powerlifting.

Additionally, both of these giant athletes have competed at the top of the card at times with Atlas having tangled with the likes of Hulk Hogan and Paul Orndorff, whereas Henry has actually gone one better and won World Heavyweight gold.

Unfortunately for both, they’ve also been straddled with some awful gimmicks. For Atlas’ horrible run as Saba Simba you could just as easily take a look at Henry’s memorable-yet-bad run as Sexual Chocolate.
