Bret Hart was one of the most gifted professional wrestlers of all time, but in his twenty year career he apparently never got the timing right re: getting whipped to the buckle. Literally every other wrestler alive can recover at the last second and land shoulder-first against the pads, giving them a chance to counter, but not the Hitman. No, his game plan was always to hustle right into the buckle, sternum-first, then collapse in a heap.
