20 WWE Women's Wrestlers You Totally Don't Remember

11. Kristal

Though not exactly known as an in-ring dynamo, Kristal Marshall was a relatively competent performer for WWE. She was a functional but unspectacular professional wrestler who played a more-than-adequate mid-card spot-filler role on SmackDown, even if her WWE career lasted no longer than a couple of years.

Being a passable wrestler probably isn’t want you remember Kristal for, however She had a couple of feuds with Ashley Massaro and Jillian Hall, but Kristal’s most notable WWE contributions were on Teddy Long’s arm.

A close friend of Vickie Guerrero, Kristal started flirting with Long, SmackDown’s General Manager, on a weekly basis. She went as far as confessing her love for Teddy, and after convincing Teddy to hire Vickie as his assistant, the referee-turned-GM proposed. Another ill-fated wedding angle followed, with Long suffering a heart attack during the ceremony, falling into a coma, and Vickie ultimately inheriting his role as GM.

Kristal played no further role in the scheme, however. She was released from WWE a few weeks later, and didn’t reappear in wrestling for two years before a brief TNA run in 2009. When that ended, Marshall branched-out into other fields, and has worked as a hair stylist and interviewer for the Los Angeles Dodgers since stepping away.
