20 WWE Women's Wrestlers You Totally Don't Remember

3. Rebecca DiPietro

Rebecca DiPietro was eliminated from the 2006 WWE Diva Search's early stages, but was offered a WWE contract just four days later. She was assigned to the DSW developmental territory straight away, and her televised appearances were largely restricted to backstage segments and bikini contests while learning her craft between the ropes.

DiPietro started wrestling on ECW brand house shows a few months, though she never made the transition to full-time WWE wrestler. Her training didn't take-off like WWE officials had hoped, and the company were soon forced to rethink her role.

WWE gave-up on the idea of DiPietro as a wrestler. She was eventually installed as ECW's backstage interviewer, and appeared as a "Lumberjill" during Lita's WWE Women's Championship match with Mickie James at Cyber Sunday at 2006. Her time was slowly trickling away, however. She left WWE in March 2007, and ultimately goes down as one of dozens of faceless short-term performers whose blandness characterised the ill-fated ECW revival.
