20 WWE Women's Wrestlers You Totally Don't Remember

17. Lena Yada

Prior to joining WWE in 2008, Lena Yada was a swimsuit model, professional surfer, and part-time actress. She attempted to add “professional wrestler” to her growing list of occupations through the ‘05 and ‘07 Diva Search competitions, but wasn’t signed to WWE until 2008, when she debuted as a backstage interviewer.

Yada occupied a number of roles as an on-air personality, mostly on the ECW brand. She hosted a dance-off between Kelly Kelly and Layla before intervening and declaring herself the victor, then worked as a valet for both Layla and Victoria over the following months.

She commenced her wrestling training during this time, but rarely featured inside a WWE ring. Her only televised appearance came as part of a 16-woman tag team match on the 800th episode of Raw, but she was never actually tagged in, and her contract was cancelled a week later.

A quick run on the indies followed, but Lena Yada has since retired from the business all-together. She’s currently married to Disturbed frontman David Draiman, and wrestling fans have likely seen the last of her.
