Speaking of people unhappy with the company, CM Punk was the most high profile exit from WWE since Brock Lesnar. He was also the company's biggest star since Stone Cold, no matter how much the higher-ups tried to bring him down.

Leading up to WrestleMania XXX, Punk was offered the opportunity for a high profile match against Triple H, a man who he'd had history with during the all-too-brief Summer of Punk. Now the figurehead of the Authority, Triple H orchestrated Kane eliminate Punk from the Royal Rumble in 2014 and would eventually lead to a one-on-one match between Punk and the Game.

Why didn't it happen?

Punk suffered a serious case of burnout and frustration with the WWE creative team, not to mention them neglecting his health following a misdiagnosed staph infection. The night after the Royal Rumble, seeing the WrestleMania plans was the last straw for him and he walked out, never to step foot in a WWE ring again.

The Second City Saint also released a list of the WrestleMania card, which included Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus, Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose and Big Show vs Kane. All altered or scrapped because Punk valued his health over his pay check.
