20 WWE WrestleMania Matches We Almost Got (And Why We Didn't)

15. Brothers of Destruction vs. Snitsky & Heidenreich - WrestleMania 21

Two poorly received feuds coming together for a big blow off. Sounds ideal right?

At the Royal Rumble in 2005, the Undertaker fought Heidenreich in a Casket Match after feuding for the last couple of months. Snitsky, who had been feuding with Kane in the abhorrent Lita-pregnancy-miscarriage storyline, interfered on behalf of the future Legion of Doom member when Kane popped out of the casket to make the save, giving Undertaker the win.

Because the heels liked poetry and punting babies I guess, the two would come together and eventually battle the Brothers of Destruction in a tag team match at WrestleMania 21.

Why didn't it happen?

This was once again a case of the Undertaker putting his foot down and proposing a better alternative in the form of a Legend vs Legend Killer match against Randy Orton. Kane meanwhile was inserted into the Money in the Bank ladder match.

As for the feud with Heidenreich & Snitsky; their scheduled tag team blow off was saved for a February house show. A much more fitting end to such a terrible idea.
