9. The Fans Have A Voice

NXT is a hugely enjoyable show and product. We all know that. And key to the success of the brand is that fans actually get to watch something that gives them what they want to see from a wrestling show.

Again, this is something that is not by accident, but very firmly by design.

At one point during the All-Star Panel, the topic turned towards giving the fans what they want. Corey Graves made a comment about how Triple H is always listening to the fans, and Hunter elaborated on this a little.

Whether he understands why the crowd reacts like they react or not, The Game admitted that he is always listening to how the fans respond to performers and the product in general. Given how the main WWE product has seemingly often chosen to go in a different direction purely to spite fans in recent years, it’s hugely positive to hear Hunter talk about taking on board how the crowd reacts to things.

A perfect example of this is how Eva Marie’s monster push to challenge for Bayley’s NXT Women’s Championship has recently been nixed due to the massive levels of X-Pac heat she was receiving. It also doesn’t help that All Red Everything couldn’t even remember to kick out before a 3-count…
