Many gave a puzzled shake of the head when it was revealed that talents like Kevin Steen, KENTA, Prince Devitt and Uhaa Nation were given some form of WWE try-out before they were signed with the company. After all, these are huge stars who had managed to make a name and living for themselves without the WWE machine behind them.

As Triple H explained on Monday night, the reason for each and every incoming talent having a try-out is to see what they are like as a person. With modern technology, anybody can judge someone’s in-ring ability in a matter of a few well-placed clicks, but Hunter revealed that the biggest point of the try-outs is to make sure what a talent is like away from the bravado and the action.

The Game went on to say that problem cases and those with attitude problems are simply a no-go for the WWE and for NXT.

And with that said, for those hoping to see The Young Bucks in the WWE at some point in the future, don’t hold your breath.
