Having won NXT’s Gold Rush Tournament – defeating jobber royalty in Drew McIntyre, Michael McGillicutty, and Jinder Mahal – the crowning of Seth Rollins as the inaugural NXT Champion is a moment that has been shown time and time again over the last few months.

Whilst we got to see Rollins celebrating in the ring with Triple H and Dusty Rhodes, the All-Star Panel show let the cat out of the bag that Hunter and Dream’s appearance was a spur-of-the-moment, unplanned happening.

Regardless of whether it was planned or not, the sight of Rollins stood alongside The Game and The American Dream is a memorable one and one that firmly got NXT off on the right path - a) down to Triple H and Dusty putting their stamp of approval on the new Champ, and b) because the ridiculously talented Seth Rollins was by far the best choice to lead the charge of this new brand.
