6. Rockstar Spud Is Compared To Buddy Rogers, Ric Flair And...Tina Turner
During the Name vs. Career match between Rockstar Spud and Austin Aries, Josh Matthews tries to play up the importance of both the match and of a wrestler's name. He says, "Once upon a time, two guys who had the same nickname, 'The Nature Boy', went one on one for the rights to that name", referring to Buddy Rogers and Ric Flair, essentially comparing the potential loss of Spud's name to their classic torch-passing moment. Moments later, Pope then puts his own foot in his mouth by saying, "There's money in a name. Just ask Tina Turner: 'take everything you want, daddy, but leave my name alone'". Totally cringe-worthy and, above all else, it's just bizarre.
