10. Chris Benoit Vs. Triple H Vs. Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania XX)
If you're tired of us talking about Chris Benoit, worry not: we're done after this.
After a ripper of a performance from the #1 position in the Royal Rumble match, Chris Benoit earned his shot at the WrestleMania main event. Rather than stay on SmackDown, however, Benoit chose to butt in on Triple H and Shawn Michaels' lovers quarrel. It ended up working well in the story, as Hunter and Shawn were so focused on destroying each other, they forgot to properly factor Benoit into the equation.
Interesting psychology aside, however, this match was a nonstop flurry of offense. It's likely one of the most action-packed WrestleMania main events of all time, as the pace would not cease. To add to that, Triple H and Shawn Michaels spilled enough blood to fill the elevator from The Shining, and the emotional ending of Benoit finally winning the gold and celebrating with Eddie Guerrero is the sugar-coated fairytale ending we all wanted.
