So you know how Shawn Michaels is Mr. WrestleMania? Well, along with classics such as the triple threat at WrestleMania XX and some other matches we'll get to, this was one of the reasons why. At WrestleMania 21, at the height of the Ruthless Aggression era, HBK and Kurt Angle, the two best workers in the company finally clashed for a dream match and delivered on every expectation and then some.

Michaels, working in his natural role as the face (hey stop laughing, smarks, it's true!) faced against a naturally heel Angle. It was the ultimate battle of smug good vs. goofy evil, and moreover, it was an amazing clash of styles. Michaels, the ultimate smooth mover and high flyer, had to stoop down to Kurt Angle's ground-based grappling. Ultimately, Angle would win out with his tactics, but he would have to dig deep to make the Heartbreak kid submit.

Angle and Michaels would have several encounters throughout 2005, but this one is rightfully remembered as the best, showing that WrestleMania is the best place to have these dream encounters.
