2. Rey Mysterio - 308 Matches

Debuting on Smackdown in July 2002, Rey Mysterio was a linchpin of the brand for the best part of a decade. There was a brief spell on Raw in 2008, but he was back to his beloved blue brand in 2009. In 2011 he was sent back to Raw, but still made occasional Smackdown appearances, but chronic injury was really limiting him in his final years with WWE. Using him so regularly on Smackdown was an easy decision, as he was one of the most exciting performers in WWE, at least during his prime. He had so many great matches with just about every possible opponent, from Kurt Angle to Brock Lesnar, Chavo Guerrero to Batista. He's absolutely one of the stars who came to define Smackdown as the wrestling show.
