21 Years Of WWE SmackDown Mistakes

5. 2015 - Boo Dallas

Hauled out of its death throes by the 2016 Brand Split, SmackDown hit rock bottom in late-2015 with a Halloween edition seemingly designed to test if anybody was still watching such a pointless show. The show-long storyline of Bo Dallas dressing as a ghost to try and scare the roster best summarised the malaise.

At the umpteenth attempt, Dallas finally got his wish, but a rattled Mark Henry retaliated immediately with a substantially more effective punch in the face. That the company dedicated so much of the broadcast to a payoff that aped a dated meme reflects how little they cared for their supposed secondary show.
