21 Years Of WWE SmackDown Mistakes

4. 2016 - Good Lucha Things

The 2016 Draft was a vital fresh (re)start for so many in WWE. SmackDown itself desperately needed a change-up, with the switch to going live on Tuesdays and a dynamic duo of Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon ruling the roost reflecting a conscious effort to rebuild the credibility of a 'B' brand that couldn't even sell tickets in Row C.

Kalisto was understandably excited to be part of it all but perhaps should have calmed down before cutting a promo that would tragically define the remainder of his career. His bumbled promises to engage in "Good Lucha Things" was the beginning of the end of any chance he had to be a genuine singles star.
