22 Mind-Blowing WCW Wrestler Salaries You Won't Believe

17. Rick Steiner, $621,263 In 2000

Rick Steiner made a huge amount of money in 2000, taking home more than the likes of headliners like Jarrett. He wasn't even used that much, especially in big contexts. So it is a bit of a mystery why WCW felt he was worth over 600K a year, but it was mainly due to a large downside rise. He'd only been on a payroll of 144K in 1999, and for whatever reason, WCW bumped it up to 597K for 2000. He made the total sum by adding in licensing royalties.
