If youve continued to hate Randy Orton even when he lost all relevancy, theres a good chance it stems back to his treatment of Mrs Foleys Baby Boy on this episode of Raw. With Eric Bischoff offering a challenge to Foley to fight Orton (with the stipulation that an Orton loss would see Eazy E leave the company), Foley went through a crisis of wrestling faith. Inevitably, he did what anyone in his position would, turning to Shawn Michaels, who seemed to think he was ACTUALLY God at this point to talk about the addiction of wrestling. Putting aside his concerns, he initially agreed to the fight (symbolically asking to be flanneled up), but then turned and ran. What happened next was the making of Orton as a heel: he challenged Foley, questioning his legendary status and rubber-stamping his accusations with a lovely yellow wad of phlegm. Foleys taken some shots in his time, but few could have been as disdainful as that; it looked like it had bones in it.
