Cena's pre-main event interview was seemingly tailored to infuriate his haters. The 15-time World Champion claimed that a successful defence of his US title would 'shock the world', by virtue of the challenger being current WWE Champion Seth Rollins. This claim flagrantly ignored the deliberately weak booking of Seth throughout his reign, and came across as downright bizarre when uttered by one of the most dominant champions in wrestling history.
