The WWE are often caught out by their own casual attitude towards continuity, an example of which occurred when The Miz came to guest-commentate on the Dean Ambrose/Big Show match. Cole immediately picked up on the smarmy heel's equally smarmy headscarf, comparing him to a character straight out of Star Wars. This is the same Michael Cole who, only a few short years ago, spent every Miz match and segment religiously praising him to the point of obnoxiousness. Although nobody expects Cole to revisit his old heel shtick, such a dramatic change seemed unrealistic and poorly thought out.
