23 Things We Learned From Edge & Christian On Stone Cold's WWE Network Podcast

4. Getting Called To Wrestlers' Court

Austin asks about the time the guys got called into wrestlers' court because they went over to a head writer's house for dinner, which he says "reeks of a brownnose". Wrestlers' Court is when a worker brings one of his peers up on charges for a breach of etiquette. The Undertaker serves as the judge and JBL was the prosecutor. The guys defend themselves and say that they were pitching ideas, and because they got wind of it ahead of time they went in with a rock solid defense. Their strategy was to tell all the boys that they had been given a book deal, which they knew would anger people since they'd only been in WWE a few years at the time. They had a mock cover made up and proceeded to tell their colleagues how they would give them all signed copies, and when they held the book up it was called Edge & Christian: Ass-kissing Our Road To The Top. The team tried to buy their way out by bribing Undertaker with some of his favorite things and he acquitted them on the spot.
