Another aspect of Taker's ego trip in the early 2000's was his idea to bring his wife in. Sara looked like a tough chick, but she really added nothing to the business. It was just a case of him wanting to have her there. The absolute worst thing about it was when she pinned Diamond Dallas Page, after the WCW star had been stalking her in the storylines. It wasn't enough just have his wife alongside him, he was now also having her go over actual wrestlers? It caught Taker a lot of heat and criticism from the fans, although not as much as it should have done. Can you imagine if Hulk Hogan had brought in Linda to WCW and had her pin guys in the late 90's? He'd still be getting crucified for it to this day. Taker's got off lightly compared to the heat others would have copped.
