Long before he was broadcasting events as part of the WWF's French announce team, Jacques Rougeau Sr was winning titles in his native Quebec. His sons, Jacques and Raymond, later did the family name proud by working as The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers; Jacques also worked as The Mountie and as part of The Quebecers tag-team.

Jacques Sr passed on 1 July.
