9. Perro Aguayo Sr.

Thanks to his notoriously tough brawling style and wild man antics, Perro Aguayo Sr became one of the biggest box office attractions in Mexican wrestling history. When he wasn't lighting up countless shows in his homeland, Aguayo Sr was becoming the first ever WWF Light Heavyweight Champion in 1981.

His son, Perro Jr, still wrestles today, but Perro Sr died on 3 July aged 73.
