The late, great Pedro Morales is remembered as one of the most beloved stars of his generation. A Puerto Rican superstar, Morales won the WWF Title once and the Intercontinental Title twice during his career. He also shared a Tag-Team Title reign with Bob Backlund and was the babyface chosen to succeed Bruno Sammartino in the 70s.

He beat transitional champ Ivan Koloff to bag the belt on 8 February 1971.

That wasn't the only date in February that stood out in Pedro's life. On 12 February 2019, he passed away aged 76. There's little doubt his legacy stands the test of time. Morales was and always will be remembered as one of the most over names in WWWF/WWF/WWE history.
