It was pretty clear that something was up when the TNA World Title main event between the Hardys didn't start until 7 minutes before Impact was due to go off the air, and before they could touch each other, Eric Young came onto the ramp, declaring himself the true #1 contender. Bram then attacked Jeff from behind and E.Y. joined in, before Beer Money came out to save the day, followed by The Decay, and a huge brawl broke out. Beer Money and The Decay eventually fight their way to the back, and Kurt Angle runs to the ring, but Tyrus knocks him down and Matt clocks him with his title. Jeff then tries to fight off Bram and E.Y., but E.Y. manages to land a piledriver through a table on poor Jeff, and Josh then tries to argue that Jeff didn't deserve it because he has a wife and two young children.
