After Abyss makes his way out to the ring, James Storm gets on the mic and tells Abyss that he's a smart man, far smarter than the crowd, and that the smart thing to do is just exit the ring and give Storm a countout victory. Storm tells him "we're good friends" and to "do the right thing", as he tries to calm the crowd down, who are of course goading Abyss into beating the living snot out of Storm, not that he should need much encouragement. Abyss reminds Storm of who he is and then attacks him, starting the match. Whether Storm's move was mighty brave, mighty stupid or both, however, will be up for fans to decide.
