11. Vs. Edge - Backlash 2009
Over the course of John Cena's career, Edge proved to be one of his greatest adversaries. It was the last major encounter between the two men that would prove to be their greatest.
Cena won the World Heavyweight Championship from "The Rated-R Superstar" at WrestleMania XXV in a triple threat match featuring The Big Show, but when Edge cashed in his rematch clause, it was one on one... and Last Man Standing. Of course, the two quickly fought out of the ring, with both men using the ring steps as a weapon. Edge hit a Spear on the outside, but Cena got to his feet before the ten count. Cena fought back with an AA into the crowd, but it didn't put Edge away.
Edge and Cena battled to the entranceway, where The Big Show got involved. He came out from the back and Chokeslammed Cena through a spotlight, keeping him down for ten and giving the World Heavyweight Championship back to Edge.
