6. Vs. Umaga - Royal Rumble 2007
WWE Champion John Cena ended Umaga's undefeated streak by pinning him at New Year's Revolution, but the ending to the bout - a quick roll-up - was hardly decisive. At the behest of Umaga's manager, Armando Alejandro Estrada, a rematch was made for the Royal Rumble. This time, the two would clash in an (all together now) Last Man Standing match.
Umaga dominated Cena, just as he had done every other opponent. Cena used the steel steps to his advantage and hit a series of moves (including a bulldog, spin-out powerbomb, and Five Knuckle Shuffle), but nothing kept Umaga down for long. Cena attempted an FU onto the steps, but when he collapsed under Umaga's weight, he smacked his head on the steel and began bleeding. Cena fought back with a monitor shot, but Umaga laid him out on the Spanish announcers' table. Umaga ran across the tables and dove onto Cena, but the champion moved out of the way. Meanwhile, Estrada unhooked a turnbuckle for the quickly-recovering Umaga to use as a weapon, but Cena hit him with an FU, then applied a modified STFU, using the loose rope to choke Umaga out. With the challenger unconscious and unable to answer the ten count, Cena was victorious.
