17. Vs. Cesaro - WWE Raw (June 29, 2015)
John Cena has become a focal point of Raw as United States Champion. Each week, Cena presents an open challenge for his title, and the result is typically the best match on the show. When Cesaro answered the challenge on the last Raw of June, fans were treated to one of the best matches of the entire year.
Just like in their last encounter, Cesaro gave Cena all he could handle, and the result was a worthy follow-up to their Raw encounter the previous year. In the end, the challenger hit the Cesaro Swing and transitioned directly into the Sharpshooter. At that point, though, Cena's hated rival, Kevin Owens, rushed the ring, attacking Cesaro and giving the him the win via disqualification. Though the ending left fans unsatisfied, it could not mar 20 minutes of dramatic action.
The two would rematch the following week, with Cena picking up the win in a half-hour long encounter.
