In his first main roster match, might I add... John Cena has grown a reputation of being a guy who always needs to be on top, with a distinct reluctance to put almost anyone over. This is what makes Kevin Owens' win against the then United States Champion such a WTF Moment. Owens, the NXT Champion, was told he couldn't cut it at the highest level by so many people. This didn't stop Triple H pulling for him and making the former ROH star his guy in what is still considered as WWE's developmental. KO doesn't have the WWE look - not that that should be a problem - which means that he's already behind the eight ball in Vince McMahon's eyes. This makes it all the more staggering that he defeated Vinne's golden goose in his first outing with the owner's blessing. I can't overestimate how much of a monumental win this was in WWE history - no one simply comes in and defeats John Cena on their first outing. It's just a shame WWE didn't capitalise on this momentum before eventually having Fight Owens Fight win the Intercontinental Championship.
