25 Biggest WWE Epic Failures Of 2016
6. Dana Brooke Gets Called Up Too Soon
Dana Brooke had been in NXT for just over a year when she was called up to the main roster seemingly out of nowhere during a backstage segment on Raw in late April. In terms of her in-ring ability, it was far too early to bring up to the main stage, but at least she benefited from reuniting with Emma, who she worked well with in NXT.
However, only a few weeks into Brooke's main roster run, Emma was sidelined with an injury, forcing Brooke to branch off on her own until aligning with Charlotte Flair. As previously noted, the two hardly had any chemistry and she was constantly put in situations where she was supposed to carry matches for her team.
Due to Brooke being so inexperienced, her matches were almost always awful, and she seems to have only regressed as a wrestler. She has hardly been an asset to Raw's women's division thus far, and above all else, it's evident she must return to NXT to further improve. She won't get better as long as she is losing to the likes of Bayley and Sasha Banks on the main roster, and it doesn't look like WWE plans on putting her back with Emma any time soon, either.
