The Rock enjoyed several different entrance videos throughout his long WWE career, from his early days as Rocky Maivia to his contemporary runs as the "Electrifying" leader of the WWE Universe. But it's his "Hollywood" entrance that is most memorable to legions of fans. Why? Well, it's the only time than an entrance video has featured an obnoxiously long, self indulgent extended intro that lasted almost a minute before the full entrance music even kicked in. When the video first began to play during No Way Out 2003, fans were left staring at a screen that featured nothing but cityscapes, skylines and jammed highways, wondering just what the hell they were watching. Was it a promo for an upcoming PPV? Was it a new product? Suddenly the ambient theme gave way to "...is cookin'" and the video switched to clips of The Rock, at his cocky and arrogant best. The effect was incredible. WWE would eventually edit the intro down to just a few seconds before the guitar riffs kicked in, but anyone who saw the extended entrance at No Way Out will never forget how it heralded the arrival of the disgustingly arrogant Hollywood Rock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1KnJ1fdRFM
