25 Greatest "Martial Arts" Wrestlers Ever

24. Avatar, Shinobi, Five Star Ninja

Style: Ninjutsu Al Snow, aside from being a minor hardcore luminary, is also the worst ninja that ever lived. That€™s a bold statement, considering the caliber of the other ninja on this list, but Al has been three separate disappointing ninjas. He was Avatar, a lucha-style ninja with a colorful outfit and an elaborate masking/unmasking ceremony. He was also Shinobi, the assassin hired by Jim Cornette to kill Shawn Michaels in 1996. Finally, he took on the identity of the Five Star Ninja to battle Tajiri on behalf of Jonathan Coachman, his Sunday Night Heat Broadcast partner. None of Al€™s alter egos have been very impressive. He failed to make an impact as Avatar, he failed to murder Shawn Michaels via chinlocks as Shinobi, and he finished out his original WWE run by teaming with Marty Jannetty in a comedic heel version of The Rockers. His run as the Five Star Ninja lasted about three minutes and was used to set up a Jonathan Coachman match. What does everybody want? Al Snow to stop cosplaying, mostly.
