Once upon a time, John Cena and Randy Orton were the WWE's two top young stars -- and they had never wrestled each other in a high-profile match. Cena was on Raw when Orton was on Smackdown! and vice versa, and so this battle of the new generation was totally fresh.

In 2006, Orton joined Cena on Raw, but they were kept apart for an entire year before locking horns at SummerSlam 2007.

The match was everything it was supposed to be -- the two fought tooth and nail for the WWE Championship, leaving nothing on the table. Orton tried to put Cena down and out with his infamous punt, but Cena caught his leg and put the challenger in an STF.

Orton reached the ropes and came back with an RKO, but Cena kicked out, then hit an Attitude Adjustment for the win. WWE was in good hands with Cena and Orton leading the charge.
