25 Greatest WWE WrestleMania Matches Ever

13. Bret Hart Vs. Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania XII)

The length of a 60-minute Iron Man match makes a viewer apprehensive. To those that do open the lid and take in the match, some have found it boring, time-killing, and hollow. Others appreciate the physical efforts of Hart and Michaels, who didn't sit on their hands and ride out the clock. Given the daunting task of filling an hour with wrestling, they did their best.

Would a fall or two during the hour-long body have satiated fans that required an attention-keeper? Most likely, and it's the match's biggest flaw that the contest was scoreless for the planned duration. Seeing past the poorly-planned forest for the trees, the individual performances of Hart and Michaels are something to behold, and Michaels' win remains an unscratchable gem of a forgone time.
