25 Greatest WWE WrestleMania Matches Ever

8. Shawn Michaels Vs. Kurt Angle (WrestleMania 21)

WWE.com

By now the time was reached where it was decided that WrestleMania needed at least one match that would hurtle past the four-star mark with barely a doubt. Story wasn't important, as Angle and Michaels undertook some faint argument over who the better man was, which was enough to justify close to a half hour of balls-out wrestling. Any arguments? Didn't think so.

Whether it was Michaels' crazy quebrada onto a table-bound Angle, or Angle's dogged determination to score a submission victory, you see the clear difference in two wrestlers that bring it to a high level on free TV and lesser PPVs, and then throw it into a gear most can't comprehend when it comes to WrestleMania. 'Five stars' was less a prediction, and more a certainty.
