Luckily for them, WWE and the fans, the proved any doubters wrong with a classic match that not only cemented their legacies as leaders of the Attitude Era but two of the finest performers to ever lace a pair of boots. They were not the only stars to shine bright under the bright pay-per-view lights. Rikishi and Too Cool battled Edge, Christian and Kurt Angle in an excellent, ultra-hot opener.
