Thank the merciful lords of wrestling, the pointless bump in the road that was Fastlane is finally firmly in the rear view mirror as we continue on our Road to WrestleMania 37.
Saying that, one good thing did come from this Peacock PPV premiere; Edge is finally a Rated aRse-hole again! That aside, last Sunday's show was largely filled with, well, filler and the sort of anticipated return of a very much melted Fiend.
With said show ticked off the list, though, Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown saw WWE well and truly pull the trigger when it comes to 'Mania match announcements. Intercontinental Championship blow-offs, Nightmares meeting Empresses of Tomorrow, and a Ring of Honor alumni showcase have now been signed off on, and both Night 1 and 2 seemingly have something for everyone. Including a now three-way dance for the Universal title involving three men who once had to give up this crazy business for various reasons. Madness.
Not to be left out, NXT also kept the ball well and truly rolling coming into their own 'Mania week mega show. Ladders were added to Cruiserweight clashes, three terrific teams were confirmed to be battling over the now-vacated NXT Tag Team titles, and a painfully convoluted but no doubt enjoyable Gauntlet Eliminator Battle Royal wiggled its way onto Stand and Deliver's two-night extravaganza.
With that much information pumped into our various screens over the course of seven short days, it was easy to miss some of the brilliant little gems our favourite WWE stars threw onto the ol' Instagram during that time too. But have no fear, as always, we've got you covered...
