Randy Orton vs. Ali was everything critics say about Randy Orton matches: slow, methodical, technically sound, fundamentally solid, and at its best during the opponent's bursts of offence.

It was boring as hell.

In this setting, 'The Viper' is an unengaging, outdated grinder whose style preserves his body, but isn't at all engaging in 2019. The finish was wack, too. Ali countered out of the RKO with an awesome handstand. It was great, and willed fans who'd been chanting for his opponent back to life... then just sort of lost to the RKO seconds later.
