25 WTF Moments From WCW Souled Out 1998

13. SuperBrawl Shocker

Once JJ finally introduced Hot Rod, business really started to pick up. The Rowdy Scot demanded that Scott Hall, the number one contender, came out to the ring and Sting and Hollywood Hogan who were involved in the Starrcade debacle of a finish would join the former Razor Ramon. At a glance, it's such a mishmash of generations, territories and star power all in one ring. You have JJ Dillon who led the Four Horsemen throughout the 80's, the most famous TV announcer in Gene Okerlund, with the only man to ever beat Vince McMahon at his own game in Eric Bischoff. You have the biggest rebel of the 1980's in Rowdy Roddy Piper staring at the biggest star in modern wrestling in Hulk Hogan. Add in WCW's icon Sting and the incredibly suave Scott Hall and it's fascinating to see them all share the same ring for a segment. The conclusion to this was that Piper decreed that The Bad Guy would have to wait for his title shot because, at SuperBrawl, Sting and Hogan would clash one more time to crown the undisputed WCW Champion.
