"I'm the best in the ring, on the mic, at announcement table..." Well, maybe not that last bit but there was definitely a slice of CM Punk in Kevin Owens' words on this week's RAW.
Am I the only one that think he's done this off his own back? Given all that's gone on between CM Punk and WWE over the past two years, I just couldn't see a writer going to Vince McMahon with that promo and Vince giving it the thumbs up. As pivotal a moment that pipebomb was, with the current lay of the land between the company and its former star, Vince won't want any attention given to Punk simply because he's proven over the years that he's a very petty man.
It may well be the case that the promo could backfire on two-time Intercontinental Champion Owens, and if it does, I will head over to WWE headquarters and shove my scepter so far up Vince McMahon's !*$% it'll come out of his mouth!
Kevin Owens is my favourite, you know.
