After the surprise announcement that Sting vs. Triple H was to be a No Disqualification match, it seemed pretty clear that it was going to feature a ton of "extras", by way of some run-ins from a few familiar faces. After Sting locked Trips in the Scorpion Death Lock, the D-Generation-X theme hit and out came Billy Gunn, X-Pac and Road Dogg to distract the Stinger and allow HHH to (briefly) gain the upper hand. After Trips went outside to fetch his sledgehammer, though, the nWo theme played and Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Hollywood Hulk Hogan emerged. Once they strolled down the ramp, a decades-in-the-making moment happened: nWo and D-X started fighting, and though it should have happened years ago as a proper match, it was still incredibly cool to watch. As even more added value, Shawn Michaels then showed up, delivering some Sweet Chin Music to Sting, and for the rest of the match, the two sides pretty much just let the two competitors go at it. Try not to mark out while watching this one.
