One of the more entertaining matches on the WrestleMania card was pointlessly shoved into the pre-show when it was certainly deserving of pay-per-view status. The André the Giant Memorial Battle royal was enjoyable enough but became truly awesome once it was clear that Damien Mizdow would be in it for the long haul, and even more so after he quit from his personal assistant position by eliminating The Miz after he tried to force him to take on The Big Show for him. Mizdow and Big Show were then the final two entrants left, and though Mizdow very nearly eliminated the behemoth, Show won out in the end. There was a loud outcry from the Internet Wrestling Community within moments on Twitter and elsewhere, because Mizdow could've benefited hugely from winning this Battle royal (especially as he'll likely be without The Miz from now on), and instead they gave it to a super-established talent who doesn't need the rub. Hell, they didn't even bother milking the insanely obvious "Big Show is Andre 2.0" parallel, so what was the point? The crowd were clearly into Mizdow, and he should've won.
