25 'WWE Superstars' Matches That Were Actually Awesome

11. Chris Jericho vs. Yoshi Tatsu (July 15, 2010)

Only days away from taking part in the first ever Raw Money in the Bank Ladder match, Chris Jericho made a rare appearance on 'WWE Superstars' on July 15, 2010 to do battle with Yoshi Tatsu. Tatsu showed a ton of promise during his time on the ECW brand in 2009, but since coming to Raw in early 2010, he had gotten lost in the shuffle and appeared on the Thursday night show more than he did on Raw. Regardless, Tatsu could still be counted on for a enjoyable matchup and who better to pair him up with than the veteran Jericho? In their first and only televised outing against each other, Jericho brought out a side of Tatsu that WWE fans had never seen before. Members of the WWE Universe were used to seeing the happy-go-lucky Tatsu smiling and shaking the hands of his opponents, but he was more aggressive in this match against Y2J than he had ever been before in his career. It had a touch of Japanese wrestling involved that suited the styles of both competitors. Tatsu may have come out on the losing end, but he didn't go down without giving Jericho the fight of his life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_qQ-3kZdNI The former WWE champion has spoke at length about this match and other in-ring encounters with Tatsu on his "Talk is Jericho" podcast and how he believed Tatsu never received a fair shake in WWE. He isn't the only one.
