25 'WWE Superstars' Matches That Were Actually Awesome
8. Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler (March 8, 2012)
The feud between Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler is essentially the equivalent to being the John Cena vs. Randy Orton of the midcard. They've had so many matches over the years that it's hard to keep track of who's won more matches between the two. Unlike Cena and Orton, however, the Ziggler vs. Kingston matches always prove to be entertaining. Seriously, in the million matches they've had together, not one of them was a stinker. Their encounter on the March 8, 2012 edition of 'WWE Superstars' was no exception. While they've gone to war over the Intercontinental and United States Championships in the past, there was nothing up for grabs in this bout. However, that isn't to say the stakes weren't high. This match was all about proving who was the superior athlete and neither guy was about to succumb to the agony of embarrassment and defeat. As only they could, Kingston and Ziggler put it all on the line and contested an extremely exciting contest. Despite having a World Heavyweight Championship reign to his credit, Ziggler still managed to fall short of victory against Kingston. They'd be on opposing teams in the Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny match one month later at WrestleMania 28.
