25 Years Of WWE Raw Mistakes

11. 2007 - Trump Vs Rosie (8th January)

Piling on to the tension that existed between Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell for little more than his own amusement, Vince McMahon took advantage of their mainstream spat to unleash some atrocious comedy on his unsuspecting audience.

'TNA' and 'This Match Sucks' chants filled the arena as a shambolic 'match' unfolded despite the best efforts of Trump imitator (and CM Punk trainer) Ace Steel. The true low point came before the bell even rang. McMahon used and abused O'Donnell as his political punching bag, introducing her as a 'double-chined Diva' loaded with 'lesbianic fury',

On commentary, Jim Ross described Vince previously joking at the expense of the 'left-leaning lesbian' as well suggesting that he could 'hear her stomach growling from here'. Jerry Lawler joined in, joking that she was wearing a watch 'to remind her when it was time to eat again'. The Attitude Era was long dead, but for one night at least all the obnoxiousness returned. WWE Humour...GET IT?!
